Fire Rated Condition:
Up to 3” of Compression and 3” of Extension
Up to 6” of Compression or Extension
The Fire Trak System does not require fire caulk or spray to achieve a fire rating and has far greater movement capabilities than other systems limited by compressibility, elasticity or bond strength.
Non-Rated Condition:
Fire Trak is not normally used on non-rated walls, unless the wall needs to be sealed to the deck (ie. sound control).
Posi Clips with deep leg track are typically used on non-rated walls.
